Nail art/review: Coloured edged rhinestones (from Born Pretty Store)

This week, I’ve got a review of this awesome set of rhinestones from Born Pretty Store, which have a bright coloured edge. I really like how they look, and one of the colours is almost the exact same shade as Let’s Get Lost! People who have read my blog for some time, probably already know that Let’s Get Lost by Essence is my all time favourite nail polish 😉

In any case, below you can see how I did this nail look, and also a review on the rhinestones!

I wanted to use a pale blue nail polish as a base colour, so I used Cinderella by Sinful Colors. It’s a very pretty pale blue shade, with shimmers in the surprising colour of pink-ish orange. It covers best in at least 3 layers, but I think it looks nice enough in 2.

Then I used a dotting tool and Let’s Get Lost to make some dots, followed by putting smaller dots into those using Glistening Snow by China Glaze.

I glued the rhinestones onto my nails using regular top coat. There’s multiple varieties in the box, and there’s 8 pieced of each version (spread out over two sections). Enough choice! Of course I went for the blue version this time, although I’m definitely going to use the other version some time soon as well!

To finish off the manicure, I used a top coat. And I also put that on top of the rhinestones. After that, they still look as nice and shiny as they did before! Despite being quite large, they lasted several days on my nails, so I’m happy with how they perform!
