Nail art/review: Colorful Rosa Chinensis water decals (from Born Pretty Store)

Today, I’ve got another nail art review for you! Water decals are usually beautiful and easy to use, so I always enjoy using them for a quick nail art. And the ones that I’m reviewing today are especially pretty, because they’re images of roses!

They’re the Colorful Rose Chinensis water decals, from Born Pretty Store 🙂

A soft green colour seemed perfect as a background for the brightly coloured roses. So I used two layers of Pistache by Sinful Colours, and then did a French tip over that using Rise and Shine, also by Sinful Colors.

Water decals are somewhat like stickers, but much thinner. Cut one of them from the rest of the sheet, remove the see-through plastic and put it in a bowl of water. After about ten seconds, the water decal can be carefully removed from the paper (I use tweezers to do that) and then be put onto the nail. Just press it on and then dry off the excess water. To protect the manicure, it’s a good idea to use a top coat.

Personally, I really love how these water decals look. The colours are beautifully vibrant and they’re very detailed. They instantly brighten up the manicure!
