Nail art: Hot pink leopard look

Often, when I can’t think of anything for a nail art, I resort to the basics. Such as leopard print! I recently bought a suitcase with a bright pink leopard print on it, so I decided to mimic those colours 😉

Tools used:

-Flat nail art brush (clean-up)
-Nail polish remover (clean-up)
-Striping brush
-Dotting tool

Nail polishes used:

-Essence hardening nail base
-Sinful Colors – Island Coral
-Etos – (nameless pink)
-NYC – Fashion Ave Fuchsia
-China Glaze – Liquid Leather
-Essence Better than gel nails top coat

  1. Apply base coat
  2. Apply two layers of the base colour
  3. Make a slanted French tip in pink
  4. Use a darker shade of pink and a dotting tool to make random dots
  5. Create sloppy circles around those dots using black nail polish and a dotting tool
  6. Do the same dots on the nails without a French tip, but using pink and dark pink
  7. Make a black line at the edge of the French tips using a striping brush
  8. Apply top coat
