Nail art/review: Lace nail art stickers (from Born Pretty Store)

It’s time for another review! This time, I’ll be trying some lace nail art stickers. They have these in different patterns at Born Pretty Store, and I chose one with a floral theme.

There are four strips of lace sticker in one package, two wide ones and two narrow ones. Seeing as you can cut off the part you want to use, I think this could last for a few manicures.

I like how detailed they are. Also, they’re very smooth to the touch, which is also nice.

I wanted a nice background for the lace, so I chose to do a pink to purple ombre. Very quick and easy to do, yet it always adds something to the final look.

I was actually on the fence on whether to use red or pink, but I ended up using pink simply because black seems to stands out on it more. And I do want the lace to be very visible, of course 🙂

The lace is really easy to use, which is always a plus! I folded the plastic over the nail to see how much of the sticker I needed, cut it, and then simply applied the sticker to the nail. It does take a bit of practice to get them to lay completely flat on the nail, but I think I could get better at that.

All in all, I like them! They’re a quick and easy way to get a manicure to look a lot more special. I applied them to the centre of the nail this time, but it’d also be fun to put them on the tips, or sideways. More than enough possibilities 😉

If you’d like to try these as well, they can be ordered at Born Pretty Store here (they also have them in different themes). And I have a coupon code which can be used to get 10% off an order with them, which is: FT10K31
