Nail art: Ice skating

Even though I’m awful at ice skating (it probably doesn’t help that I only try once every few years), I do think it’s something that very much represents winter. So this week, I tried to paint ice skaters on my nails!

Tools used:

-Striping brush

Nail polishes used:

-Yves Rocher Anti-breakage base coat
-Essence – Let’s Get Lost
-Essence – Ciao Oliviero
-Essence – Love Is In The Air
-Color Club – Lumin-ICEnt
-Playboy – Anastasia
-Essence Better Than Gel Nails top coat

  1. Apply base coat
  2. Apply two layers of a bright blue nail polish
  3. Paint the shapes of hills using green nail polish
  4. Paint the ice lane using metallic ice blue (or silver)
  5. Add the silhouettes of ice skaters using black nail polish and a striping brush
  6. Apply top coat
