Nail art: Ice crystals (using salt!)

Even though I’m hoping it’ll be spring soon (bought a lot of spring clothes that I really want to wear 😛 ), it’s still winter. So this week’s nail art is still in the theme of snow and ice!

Tools used:

-Detail brush
-Sea salt

Nail polishes used:

-Catrice First Aid nail repair
-Yves Rocher – Blue Nuit
-Max – White
-Rituals nail gloss

  1. Apply base coat
  2. Apply two layers of a dark blue nail polish
  3. Paint some ice crystals using white nail polish and a detail brush
  4. While the white nail polish is still wet (apply an extra layer if necessary), carefully dab salt on it with a fan brush
  5. Apply some top coat to the nails, to make sure the salt stays on there for as long as possible
