Nail art: Spring pinwheels

Another spring themed nail art! This time, I wanted to go for a pinwheel look, which I always love on other people. So far, though, it never did quite work out on me. But apparently I got better at drawing straight lines, because I do actually like how this one turned out!

Tools used:

-Striping brush
-Clay flowers
-Thin dotting tool

Nail polishes used:

-Essence Hardening nail base
-CK – White
-NYC – Lexington Yellow
-NYC – High Line Green
-Sinful Colors – Savage
-Miss Sporty – (nameless turquoise)
-Playboy – Leila
-Essence Better Than Gel Nails top coat

  1. Apply base coat
  2. Apply two layers of a white nail polish
  3. Paint on the different coloured triangles of the pinwheels using nail polish and a striping brush
  4. Add a clay flower to the centre of each pinwheel
  5. Apply top coat
