Nail art: Labyrinth inspired nails

One of my favourite movies is Labyrinth. And because I wanted to do a challenging nail art this week, I decided to try and do one inspired by Labyrinth!

I’m seriously a beginner at painting (a crappy beginner, even 😛 ), and painting people is definitely something I’m going to have to practice at… a lot. So this was a very interesting mani to be working on 😉

Tools used:

-Detail brushes
-Acrylic paint

Nail polishes used:

-Essence Hardening nail base
-A-England – Virgin Queen
-A-England – Cathy
-Color Club – LuminICEnt
-Essence Better Than Gel Nails top coat

  1. Apply base coat
  2. Apply the base colours (I used dark silver, soft pastel lavender and pale blue)
  3. Using acrylic paint, draw the figures on the nails. It’s easiest to look at pictures from the movie while doing this
  4. Finish it off with top coat
