Nail art: Matte rainbow circle (with rhinestones)

This is what happens when I listen to ABBA while thinking of what to put on my nails… Bright and happy colours! I guess that’s a good thing, though, because I really enjoyed wearing these nails πŸ˜‰

Tools/items used:

-Liquid nail art tape (Beautyill)
-Sponge
-Acetone
-Flat brush
-Rhinestones
-Dotting tool

Nail polishes used:

-Essence Hardening nail base
-CK – French
-Rituals – Nail Gloss
-China Glaze – Merry Berry
-Essence – Flashy Pumpkin
-Essence – Love Is In The Air
-P2 – Artful
-Essence – Let’s Get Lost
-Essence – Electriiiiiic
-Essence – Break Through
-Essence – Better Than Gel Nails
-Catrice – Matt & More top coat

  1. Apply base coat
  2. Add two layers of white nail polish
  3. Put on a thin top coat to get an even surface for the stamping
  4. Stamp on the rainbow circle using a sponge and lots of nail polish colours
  5. Add top coat and a shiny rhinestone at the centre of each circle.
  6. Finish it off with a matte pearl effect top coat (or very fine glitter nail polish and then regular matte top coat)
