Nail art: Autumn glitter storm!


It’s autumn! And I’ve been craving to do some autumn looks, so I’m happy to finally be able to do so 😉 This week’s mani contains gradient, leaf silhouettes and glitter!


Tools/items used:

-Liquid nail art tape (BeautyIll)
-Small nail art brush
-Gold glitter

Nail polishes used:

-Gelaze – Innocence (gel)
-Essence Hardening nail base
-China Glaze – Merry Berry
-Essence – Flashy Pumpkin
-Essence – Love Is In the Air
-Essence – Ciao Oliviero
-Max Factor – Candy Blue
-China Glaze – Liquid Leather
-Rituals – Nail Gloss
-Essence Better than Gel Nails top coat


  1. Apply base coat (if using gel polish underneath, buff that first)
  2. Put a layer of liquid nail art tape around the cuticles
  3. Sponge on an ombre of dark red, orange, pale yellow, dull green and blue
  4. Immediately take off the liquid nail art tape and clean the cuticles with some acetone and a flat brush if needed
  5. Paint the leaf silhouettes using a small nail art brush and black nail polish
  6. Apply some thin top coat onto each leaf and throw some gold glitter onto it
  7. Outline and detail the leafs with some more black nail polish
  8. Finish it off with top coat
